As someone who has fought pre-hypertension for a few years now with exercise this would be my number one feature to have a baseline and know if it is time to explore meds before it gets too late.
Yes, it would be nice. Just pointing out there is an inexpensive alternative for now so people don’t think they can’t check their BP at home, though not as convenient or mobile as a smartwatch feature.
blood pressure measurement is very valuable for me. blood pressure is known as “silent killer” imagine how many cases would be prevented before high blood pressure causes it.
This would be cool, I don’t think it could be a cuff, maybe with new technology utilizing a sensor over the radial artery. I also wonder about how many people will show up to my work (ER) with blood pressure complaints- more so than they already do!
Blood pressure readings.

High BP is seriously silent.
It’s not as easy, but BP monitors are not that expensive. I checked mine every few weeks.
I have one! I just mean the convenience of the watch monitoring regularly would be cool.

+1 for this
as someone who still doesn’t have ECG in their country, we really get the bottom of the stick
How could it give a reading if it’s on the wrist? All blood pressure readings are done on the upper arm.
