I work at a hotel and I found an apple watch in one of the rooms and forgot to turn it in. No one’s called to ask for it or anything, but this is an expensive piece of tech that I’m sure the original owner wants returned to them. I don’t own any apple products so I have no use for it and selling it seems a little scummy.

Can I just walk into an apple store and ask them? The watch has no battery left, though, and I don’t have a charger.

Please help me reunite this watch!

If you work in a hotel, they know who the client is at the reception desk.

surely if the apple watch was found in the room then the hotel would have the contact details to locate the owners? why did you take it and not hand it in?

Haha good to see apple’s security features working as intended. Why not hand it in to reception, even a few days later if you had any intention of returning it to its rightful owner?

Selling it seems scummy? You work there and didn’t just bring it to the front desk like you would with all lost/found items. You’re already being scummy.

Go to the apple store, they will charge it and it should ping on the owners find my. Then hold down on the button, not the dial, the button and it’ll come up with medical ID. Then you have their info to contact them.
