Since Lemmy is so new, and the default interface is not always that … great (yet), ~dispite @jerry@infosec.pub best efforts~
what app do you use to view posts on here?
I was using wefwef.app and am considering hosting my own. what do you all use?
current Tally:
Jerboa, works fine
I’m waiting for “Sync for Lemmy” to be released in a couple months
Till then, jerboa
I am trying both Jerboa and wefwef. Wefwef seems to feel less smooth in my experience.
Edit: Also installed Liftoff and it seems to be working well.
but you cant beat there update schedule… there has been like 10 versions in 3 days…
sadly Jerboa is Android, and I am stuck on iOS due to “regulations”…
Jerboa has a smoother scroll but it does lack the swipe post actions which I was starting to enjoy.
On iOS you get to have the PWA, which is done by adding the site to the homescreen and launching that. Cohost has a really nice PWA presence, Lemmy is so-so.
Jerboa, but it’s like one of two in F-Droid. Not opposed to the Play Store, but started defaulting to F-Droid for apps lately.
Memmy is easily my favorite out of all the apps.

Memmy
gkasdorf is doing an amazing job adopting Apollo-like principals and interface while keeping it lightweight, it works exceptionally well.
Thunder is my default, but I do cheat a bit with Liftoff as well. I tried wefwef a bit on desktop, but found it lacking when working with keyboard navigation, but other than that it works well.
Memmy and mlem.
Memmy, it have been improving enormously just in the past week
Browser or Jerboa. Also have another one installed but it looks like the developer hasn’t developed much further since Jan 31st and is still in early development. The app is Lemmotif and I wish the developer would try to develop it more.
Connect as of now. But I’m excited for boost.
Browser only (firefox) on my laptop
Lemmy Native - but only out of ignorance. Gunna start looking at these now.
thats partly why I started this post. it yielded a few option I was completely unaware off already.
Another plug for Thunder. I think it’s overlooked, and after trying a few on mobile, I keep going back to it. It just feels like the smoothest experience so far.
