Connect loads so much faster than liftoff, which sucks because I like liftoff better if it wasn’t an original EverQuest zone loading screen everything I looked at a post.

I’m in the exact same boat as you, using liftoff. But I know I’m gonna start app-jumping until Sync arrives.

I switched to another instance about an hour ago and you’re right. I can finally browse comfortably again (on liftoff as well)

It isn’t the app, it’s the instance.

The irony is that we left Reddit for how they killed quality apps, and on Lemmy we’re no way close a single properly functioning one still, despite some incredibly great efforts by devs.

I think that’s a bit harsh. I have Jerboa liftoff and connect installed and they are all good. Are they as good as apps that had a decade to polish up? No, but they’re pretty damn good for some new apps and they’re certainly nowhere near broken.

Give it some time, the network is still young and so are the apps.

Idk, they’re all working great for me. Everyone needs to stop signing up to lemmy.world and it would run so much better for that instance

Sorry, wasn’t meant to be a shit on anyone post. Liftoff is by far the best app on Android.

No VPN or Proxies being used? Anyways, like others have mentioned you’re on a popular and possibly overloaded instance which is probably why it’s taking so long.
