I’m need to replace my iPhone 8 so that I can update my S7 watch. The Apple guy suggested that my comparatively light use of the phone would be most economically served with a new iPhone SE. My 20 year old child says the SE is a shitty phone. For those of you who have paired their apple watch to a SE, are there any issues? Thanks!

If you are happy with the iPhone 8, a SE is essentially an iPhone 8 with the processor from an iPhone 13 in it. I am going with an iPhone 13 myself.

The most current iPhone SE is a fine phone for people who are relatively light phone users and who like a small footprint phone.

I have an SE as a second phone. the only difference I notice from my 13 is that it still has the home button and touch ID.
