There’s an option under settings to not allow iCloud photos. I’m with you, I don’t want anything from my phone to show on the TV lol.

Place the pictures in question in your hidden folder
Use this on your phone for photos. It encrypts them, hides them behind a ‘audio management panel’, or ‘calculator’, or other fake app which you long press on the title or some such, enter a pin, and it lets you into the photos, videos, apps and things you want hidden.
I would imagine they’re using an iPhone though… you posted a Google play link. Wrong OS

Just sign out of iCloud. The other apps will work except Apple TV if u use it. When your in your own sign back in
In the settings you can turn off photos . The app would be there but It won’t show anything
Setup a “shared family” account for stuff like this
Does the cartoonish interface bother anyone else? Is there a way to make it look more like Google TV?
No. That’s Apple’s UI.

First rule of buying anything tech, from iot to games: go through the damn settings!
Apple needs to acknowledge and then figure out how to best handle the whole “Mature/Adult” thing.
