Playing through the game for the first time as an arcanist and I’ve reached level 28, though I’ve only hit level 21 on the MSQ.

I’ve constantly being level sync’d and was wondering if it might be better for me to level up another class so I’m not constantly being unable to use my skills.

    You will have the same problem with other jobs/classes too. If your current level is higher than the dungeon and alike, then you will be synced down according to the level of the dungeon.

      Not sure why you got downvoted. You are correct, although I probably wouldn’t classify it as a “problem” per se. Normally, players are synced to the recommended level of the respective duty (dungeon in this case), unless the Unrestricted Party mode is turned on which disables the level sync.
