My theory is
People buy it because it “beginner friendly” like it always IPhone 7,8,9,12 or 12s,13s etc than Android confusing line up of names and products like the Fold samasung
And the interface also good for beginner “to the point its childly easy to navigate and feel”
I mainly use an iPhone because it has apps like Garage Band and Bias FX… for whatever reason Android doesn’t seem to have apps like that. Having access to guitar amps/effects and multitrack recording in my pocket is amazing.
Another reason is the 3rd party support. I know things have got a lot better on the Android side but, as an example, my kid just got a Nothing Phone and he was a little bit gutted because Guns of Boom has aspect ration bars and doesn’t run at 120fps even thought the phone is capable of it.
If Android really was superior I might be tempted to jump ship but, apart from the customisation, what advantage does it really offer?
Most android users I know got it because it’s cheap.
iPhone is so much better. Hardware is much more premium. Even Samsung and Google flagships can’t really compete with build quality. iOS is one of those softwares that “just works.” Everything you want it to do, it does exactly how you expect it to. Very user friendly and intuitive. Much better privacy and security. Amazing integration with other Apple products through iCloud. And in the US, if you don’t use iMessage you can expect to be somewhat ostracized.
I don’t ever recall someone preferring to buy an iPhone because of the naming scheme is more friendly than Android. The average person does not care about that. Pricing is more important. And there are many budget phones on Android that are just as good as flagships from Samsung or Apple for half the cost. Those that want an iPhone are usually those that can afford it or on a contract with their carrier.
Learn English for fuck’s sake. Also, Android is a cheap, plastic shit.
Every iphone last longer and still relevant for years after released, people who use iphone 7 still doing okay. Meanwhile Samsung Galaxy S7 already obsolete and slow.
Beside that reason, i think both of them are getting more similar.
Because I’m childly, obviously. Sheesh
When I was on android I found myself paying more and more at each upgrade cycle to get the quality and support I wanted. I realised I was looking to pay Apple money but not get Apple standard. So I bought an iphone. Never looked back.
Because it is.
I just don’t wanna end up like you, a jaded old android user after years of being bullied over green bubbles
Your theory is total bollocks lol
Iphone users care about security and could care less about customization.
Android is cool nowadays but it’s a matter of personal preference depending on what you wanna do. I’ve used both since my first smartphone in 2009. My last android was a Samsung galaxy note 9. A good smartphone although too big for me. But really good. One UI was fine and you could do anything on the phone. Then why do I finally stay on the iPhone? Simple: even if I had the opportunity to do things that I can’t do on iPhone, I barely did it: emulators, split screen multitasking… I thought I would but I finally almost never used it. All the personalization shit I’ve never cared. However ecosystem, Apple is much better. There is no watch better than the Apple Watch, no tablet better than an iPad. All that perfectly synced. I’ve never had an android updated that frequently and timely. All apps are much more polished on iOS (which is normal, developers have a few devices to work on and can optimize them). Now I know I could survive with Samsung, you give me a s23 + a Samsung tab + Samsung galaxy watch and galaxy buds and I can definitely survive. But there is a superior version from Apple so…
PS: it’s better in every aspect for you. Depending on what you expect from a phone, it’s not. If you want frequent and quick updates + polished apps + ecosystem, iOS kills android 🤷🏻♂️
There are an awful lot of these kinds of posts of late. It’s weird and cringe. You do you, OP. No one gives a shit.
