Apple TV 4K 128gb. Hard wired. Have tried every which way under the sun but no dice. Can’t get this “feature” they are overhyping to work even once.

Just wanted to try it. Doubt it’ll be used lots as convenience of a iPhone or even an iPad is unmatched but … for the sake of trying things out.

Anyone else get this to work? I have a 14 Pro and wife has a 12 and neither worked.

Edit: on tvOS 17.1

Mine only works on my newest Apple TV 4K with the silver Siri Remote. My old Apple TV 4K with the black remote doesn’t allow it.

Working fine here, just tried it to double check it was still working.

It’s not currently convenient to make a FaceTime call so used it within Apple Music, select the function and confirm the prompt on my phone then position in front of the tv.

I then messed around with some of the filters and moved myself from to the right and left of my seating position and the camera moved the image back to the centre of the screen.

The Continuity FaceTime feature seamlessly operates between my iPhone 12 Pro and Apple TV 4K model MXH02LL/A without any issues.

I only have 1 Apple TV that supports this feature. The others are not new enough. It works with my iPhone 12 on this ATV, but not with my iPad. The iPad is 4 years old. I have not chased down if it is too old to do it. Both have OS 17.1 or higher.

Seems to require some really new hardware.
