I currently have the X (6 years strong), but It’s time for a long overdue upgrade. I’m stuck beyond belief between the 15 pro max and the 15 plus. I know they both will feel like massive upgrades but my dilemma is that I love the idea of having a great pro model device for the next 5-6 years, yet what people say about the 15 plus battery intrigues me so much. In terms of the 120ghz vs the 60, I can definitely tell the difference but would definitely get used to either one. If anyone has input that might help make my decision it would be really appreciated!

Tbh depends upon your use case

    1. if you need the extra camera lens as you do some photography (on a tad bit professional level)
    2. you need the extra performance of the A17pro There can be many more things said as you yourself mentioned the 60 and 120hz Go through a good comparison video or compare yourself and decide 👍🏻

Definitely the 15 plus over the pro max. I have a 14 pro max and everyday I wished I had just gone for the 14 plus. I think most people do not need the pro models. For what the iPhone is used for in the lives of most people, the variant is definitely enough. You will get use to the 60 refresh rate in no time and the pictures you take will almost certainly be enough with the cameras of the plus variant. I really hate the fact that Apple makes 4 variations of the same phone. I really wish Apple would go back to the days of just making two var, the regular phone and the plus phone like they did for years up until the iPhone X. Back then you had the regular model and the plus model. The choices were a lot easier to make.

If you’re not already hooked on ProMotion and can deal with 60Hz, I think the extra battery life on the Plus is definitely worth it. Unless you reallyyyy need a telephoto lens for some reason.

Leaning towards the pro max I can’t front, seems like It would be better in the long run too.
