It’s been good two days since someone posted, and I just love this community, don’t wanna see it fade away. My question is why do y’all still use this form factor of an iPhone ?
I’ve never had an iPhone and wasn’t planning on getting one but i just got the SE3 on sale at Walmart for $50
You are lucky. I have never been able to find one that cheap
Its small and I enjoy touch ID. Also, it is just as fast as the newer phones. I have an iphone SE3.
Less addictive and more straightforward?
Because spending $800-$1k on a phone is bananas bro.
And because it’s the best form factor ever created.
SE3 here. My reasons? Good size, Touch ID, looks very much like the iPhone 7 I had before (so it’s familiar), does everything I need, most affordable (new) iPhone.
It’s smaller easier to hold in my hand. I don’t want a huge phone.
Too broke to afford a new/better phone. Went from SE to new SE2
Low maintenance cost!
Lots of iPhone users spend so much money on cases, camera lens cover and screen protector. I love that I do not have to baby my SE3. It is compact and get all I need done.
I was the 14 Pro user before and now I am happily rocking SE3 naked, no screen protector, with AppleCare+. Max storage of 256GB will never get this phone full. Ever!
I’m a 13 mini user but i have my OGSE as my backup. I still use it to watch live videos and movies then mirror it to my tv. Also i let my daughter use it instead of an ipad.
Cost mainly.
I have an SE2, broke the screen and in the meantime bought an SE3 to hold me over while i decide if i should fix it or not. The SE3 is a bit faster. Low power mode on the SE3 is the same speed as full power of the SE2. Battery life is significantly better on the SE3. I use both now that the SE2 is fixed. Both phones only cost me about 400. I use imessages on the backup SE2 while the 3 charges and vice versa. Love iOS seemless user experience between devices on the same icloud acct.
Main factor is performance to price. Ive been a long term Android A series user for several year off and on and owned all SE models. I prefer iphone SE to A series galaxys even with lower battery life
