The fact that it hasn’t happened earlier baffles me.
While a collective uprising and a total democratization of Russia would be the ideal end to the war, I feel a realistic end is someone like Prigozhin or Shoigu stepping in and taking over is far more likely.
This kind of friction between Wagner and the Russian army is a promising start.
This is not going to end well, I think, for both the private mercenary companies and the Russian MoD. Excellent timing as well, with the Ukrainian counteroffensive and all.
It’s fun to watch things implode from the outside. I think this is to minimise the impact that Prigozin has in case of a revolt.
One can only hope it enrages Wagner and take out their anger against Russian Military.
