Not just the US, throughout the world, the more right-wing and populist a party’s stance is, the lower the average level of education their supporter base has.
College graduates are now a firmly Democratic bloc, and they are shaping the party’s future. Those without degrees, by contrast, have flocked to Republicans.

And any body of uneducated dolts who believe in patriarchy and taking away human rights and banning books - that’s all the proof I need that GOP/conservatives are fascist bullshit-brained pieces of walking excrement.
