I honestly do not mind it one but. I quite like the interface. It’s minimal but there are some bugs to it which is to be expected. I really do like the overall design of it though. There isn’t too much going on. It’s like old Reddit which I am a big fan of
I’m liking it so far, I’ve been trying to explore other instances other than lemmy.one but, the login always turns into an infinite loading screen.
I’m new (signed up today, this is my first comment), but it seems that the thing to do is to go to your own instance, tap the three bars in the upper right and click the magnifying glass to search, then enter the full path of the community you want in the search box. So if you wanted the “News” community on beehaw.org, you’d enter !news@beehaw.org. Then it will come up in the search, but now you’ll be able to tap it and subscribe.
