I wish the article said what the previous record was. Looks like it was 7300+ at the 2021 final. Huge success for the league I think. Has TV viewership been estimated?
According to Sports Media Watch, the final had 269,000 viewers on Fox!
How does that compare to last year’s championship?
Not entirely sure how to read this site, but I think it’s saying 281k viewers in 2022. But when you also consider 8k more people watched it live vs televised, I think that’s not such a bad drop in the TV viewership.
