Hello everyone! Just here to say that I am truly blown away by the difference having nice needles makes! I am a crocheter branching into knitting, so I got a silly little cheap pair of needles to see if knitting was something I’d like. I enjoyed it but there was something frustrating about it that I couldn’t quite identify. I decide that I want to try to make a pair of socks, and thus ordered some dpn (Knitter’s pride Karbonz) and I am having so much fun just knitting the swatch! They flow and click in such a satisfying way, making it abundantly clear how terrible my other needles are. That’s all, just sharing my excitement :)

Man I only knit on metal needles anymore. Anything else is too sticky. I am hoping to upgrade my old KnitPicks nickel-plated interchangeable set to a set of Ciaogoos, but the upfront price is a bit of an ouch so I keep making due with the kinky cables.

The chiagoo interchangables are very pricey! I saved up for their twist lace tip interchangables a few years ago (just the small gauge ones). I really like them. I haven’t had any issues with them coming loose and the cables are really nice, no weird curls or kinks.

Yeah. I don’t have an interchangeable set, though I would like one. I have a cheap interchangeable set, and I have non interchangeable ciaogoos for socks and shawls. The cables really are spectacular.
