I guess that depends on what you mean by “smart car”. It’s a 2021 Ford and the app let’s me do scheduled starts. Turns on the steering wheel and seat warmers too.
Ford surprisingly is one of the few that don’t do this. At least for what I have anyways, but it’s not base model.
The only thing I’ll have to pay for to continue using is the GPS in another year or so. The app itself is free but pretty limited in overall functionality. Remote start, lock unlock, check tire pressure and oil life.
They only complaint I have is the damn windows take forever to thaw the seal enough to roll down unless I pull them back a little.

They have the F150 hybrid which engine cuts off when idling.
