I’m u/moederpoeder on Reddit and have been moderating r/trap for longer than I can count on both of my hands. With the recent news about r/trap indefinitely shutting down, I’m hoping to get something going here to what we’ve been calling “the best community on the internet”. Or not, it’s all up to you, the community.
Hoping i can get more of the previous mod team on board, but with everything moving so fast I’d figure I’d make the first move.___

I loved /r/trap so much, and as with most communities, 90% of the people are just browsing/lurking so it’s up to the 10% to make sure they post new stuff coming out and keep the discussions flowing here. I intend to be one of those 🫡

/r/trap was my home on Reddit - I was feeling serious withdrawals so I found my way over here. Where else am I supposed to find the latest and greatest music on the internet all in one place, and then complain about it with people who love it just as much as I do?
