Game has been on my radar for a while and it’s got a decent discount right now. Wondering if it’s too difficult to play on the deck though.
Seems to work fine as seen on protondb
just don’t expect the highest graphics.
I love it! My wife and I play it all the time. We were having a hard time with Xbox login on the deck, but once you get past that annoyance, its great. I’m fine with the graphics (yes, I notice some abberations) but I’m not one who makes a major fuss about that. Game content is way more important to me than graphics. But, it’s not that the graphics are bad, I just think that those who are really sensitive to this might be frustrated. It will kill your battery, though! I basically just play with my steamdeck plugged in.
I used to stream it into my deck from my PC. Idk what the native performance is like, but I found it very controller friendly! 😌
Tried it before the official Deck update and it worked oob, with the exception of multiplayer as you couldn’t log into Xbox. Now I’m playing on Linux Desktop and you can log in now. If you’d get weird performance issues try -dx11 launch option
Planning on getting this myself soon, I’ll let you know if and when I do how it is.
I haven’t played that game. I would look at YouTube, most games have at least one video about best settings. I found this one for example. He also talk about how it runs on the deck:

It is a super controller friendly game, I haven’t tried it under proton but would be surprised if you had issues.
