    Even though Fairphones don’t have the best of specs, seeing stuff like this makes me want a fairphone as my next phone.

      I don’t even need it to be as good as current flagships, but as good as 2/3 year old flagships would be my minimum requirement I think. Are they there? (I’m still keeping my current OnePlus until it’s dead or non-useable, that’s still the most eco friendly thing to do just like with cars).

        @utopianrevolt @haych

        If it was a good price absolutely.
        I’d love the Z fold 4 but that price… And the reviews from people who have had theirs broken day 1 and Samsung refuses to replace it…

          I’ve had my Fold 4 for a year now and it’s been an amazing experience. I can’t go back to a regular slab.

          I have a Fold 3 now and still going. I do love it and not actually looking for a new phone, but battery life is atrocious and I kinda do have to baby it a little.

            @haych yeah I’d assume battery is tough with all the screens and their size maybe the fold 5 will be the one for me who knows

    As a fairphone 4 owner, I can vouch for them.

    Yeah, their hardware is pretty bland and unimpressive but sometimes a boring phone is a good choice for some people.

    The Fairphone 4 doesn’t have a headphones jack, nor does it have wireless charging. It also only has 1 SIM slot (I think it was micro-SIM: either that or nano-SIM, I can’t remember) but it also supports e-SIM natively, so that you can have two phone data plans simultaneously: one with a physical SIM and one with an eSIM.

    It also works quite well and it allows you to unlock thebootloader using an automated online tool, where you have to provide the serial number and some other number on the phone box.

    Also, the battery life is quite decent, and it supports fast charging

    God Fairphones are great honestly! Highly highly likely my next phone will be one since I hate switching devices and setting new ones up… The longer i can keep using my current device the better…
