3·5 days agoYou’re talking about Mahsa Amini who was murdered by morality police after being arrested for not wearing a hijab, which was already part of a wider trend inside the country.
Iran crushed the subsequent protests by killing 500 people and arresting over 20,000. But amazingly enough, that event appears to have led to more women not wearing the hijab.

I have no idea, but i wouldn’t want to be the person who beat Trump for this award, the dude is not afraid to kill civilians in cold blood.
6·19 days agoGovernments have been finding crazy ways to listen to eachother for so long. Now every ear is directed at consumers to milk them like cows.
Watching this right now with my kids and I fucking skipped that episode. It’s somehow more disturbing than their inside-out mother.
Both parties have historically complained about voting machines after they lose. It was a big democratic thing in 2018 and 2019 because Dominion and another company were selling machines with known vulnerabilities. Now in 2025 post Trump win it’s the voting machines helping Republicans win again.
But no one, not even the liberals who refused to believe America was stupid enough to vote Trump in again, hate voting machines as much as Trump post 2020. You gotta remember that Dominion fucking washed Fox News in a multi billion dollar lawsuit. I’m positive that win against trumps position still stings and when he’s thinking of killing machines, he’s thinking of destroying Dominion.
Man you got down voted a few times, but you ain’t wrong at all. I do think they’ll do that, but no matter what, it’s almost impossible to hide everything.
We’re still finding and prosecuting former concentration camp guards to this day, and will until they’re all gone, death is the only true escape.
The first populist leftist who runs on holding these people accountable in Nuremberg court style will win my vote and support.
Paying and hiring these people leaves a paper trail to follow. Spend the next 8 years after this, if there is an after this, making people pay what they owe to these immigrants they are wantonly abusing.

This thread (an argument loadstone which was irresistible) and the time ya’ll have spent in is incredible. That’s just imo, of course.

I wonder how many of these people are just lonely, and this let’s them be around people all the time. No 3rd spaces, no mental health services, your only interaction is with your coworkers or typing on a phone.
