TIL by my coworkers that there was real shit going on in Nepal, Poland, and Qatar. Unfortunately, all of this was drowned out by every single fucking post in Lemmy being about some random American I never heard of getting shot (as if that were a noteworthy achievement in America).
I need to find a better way to get non-curated news. The public is clearly absolute utter shit for this purpose and no single news company can be trusted.
I kind of get a ring. I wore a smartwatch for years, it was only after my last one broke, and I didn’t immediately replace it, that I realised how inconvenient they were. I used to constantly get it caught in things e.g. while getting dressed, and constantly had to keep adjusting the position of the band. With a ring on a finger, I can’t see this being anywhere near as much of an issue.
Would be great if they didn’t risk blowing your finger up.
