They’re usually fine when you have subs in a different language than the audio. Where it gets frustrating is when you’re watching something in English audio with english subs and the words in the subtitles differ from the spoken words. It happens especially often when the original Audio language is something other than English. It’s awful

The last two points are very valid but I think the fake engine noise while driving is pretty important for safety, no? Personally, I cant drive and usually get around by bike or on foot where a car that’s totally silent can be dangerous if you don’t see it coming

Ich hab nicht gesagt dass dort alles total knorke ist, ich habe nur auf Nachfrage geschrieben, dass ich dort gerne wohnen würde wenn ich die Wahl hätte. Wenn mir jemand sagt er oder sie lebt gerne in Deutschland oder würde gerne mal dort leben, dann nehme ich ja auch nicht deshalb an dass diese Person alles unkritisch abfeiert was in diesem Staat so passiert und was hier politisch und ökonomisch gang und gebe ist.
