I use KDE. I like how easy it is to customize pretty much everything. Like, if I want everything to be green, I can make everything green and no one can stop me.

I think there’s something in the config file that lets you do that, but I don’t remember off the top of my head. Alternatively, you could just find a theme for SDDM (assuming you haven’t switched to Plasma Login Manager yet) that has what you want. Here’s one as an example.

I was using image editor as a kind of generic term. Either way there really aren’t many options.

By the way, did you get Krita from their website or F-Droid? The version on the website is newer, so if you haven’t already tried that version you could try it as a last ditch effort.

I’m using one of the Catppuccin ones right now. It comes in a lot of colors, so there’s always one that looks good with the theme I’m using.

I was actually referring to the UI being too small to be usable, but that seems like a pretty big problem too. Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of open source image editors that are in active development on Android.

Krita is probably the best choice as long as you’re using a tablet. I don’t believe it’s usable on a phone, though.
