Maybe you can try adding them on Signal Desktop? And also the other person could try adding you on Signal Desktop

You could just unlock the bootloader and install a GSI. Problem solved. That’s why I still buy Xiaomi phones, because they have great hardware and software freedom’ish

Wait what? I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 5G, and I was able to unlock the bootloader earlier this year. And I unlocked the bootloader in HyperOS 1, not MIUI (which has fewer restrictions on unlocking the bootloader)
And what about Xenia?
