From the UK. I message everyone through the Messages app whether or not they have an iPhone. I use WhatsApp for sending media unless the recipient has an iPhone

Hold the notification and you can respond right there and then from the notification or the Lock Screen/notification centre. No need to open Messages

WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger will fix those issues

You can move stuff into things like Dropbox and OneDrive in the Files app

I have that on my 12 Pro Max. It’s a legal requirement as others said
