It’s not going to be vetoed. Trump supports it. He’s going to try concocting excuses to redact everything he can now that he can see that it can’t be stopped in Congress.

Apparently these have sold out and are being resold on eBay.

But I live in Texas, and I’ve been using a VPN for like a year to get around new forms of censorship already. I guess we’ll wait and see and I can tell you if a VPN does in fact work for this.

The funny thing is that I’ve had to change the VPN location from Louisiana to Denver because other southern state are passing similar laws, too.

I remember it was a great moment when he was elected. He has close ties to teacher’s unions. I haven’t kept up with it that closely since then but I’ve heard comrades speak negatively about him not long ago.

Why have we not heard at all from Chicago mayor Brandon Johnson? I’ve heard there is a lot of discontent with him across the political spectrum, but still

Somehow I don’t think reporting every 6 months instead of every 4 months is going to make that big of a difference compared with China’s planning a generation or more in advance.

Wow, how is it propaganda? I have heard about this show but I’ve never seen it.

I just posted my resume on Linked in and was contacted by like a dozen different recruiters over a few months. I imagine that this varies a lot by profession.

When I used to do data entry, I contacted a couple of recruiting firms I found on Google, and they were able to find me suitable work very quickly.

I can heavily relate. I was unemployed from early November until this past April. I applied to many, many jobs and was even working with multiple recruiters. I have been working in the legal field for about 10 years, but I was about to get a job as an electrician or plumber’s apprentice because I couldn’t wait any longer. Finally, I landed a temp to hire job and they decided to bring me on after a few weeks.

I wish I had better advice than to keep plugging away, but that’s about all I can tell you. It did work for me eventually. You might try looking for short-term jobs. In the past I’ve worked for UPS around the holidays or the census bureau, but I couldn’t find anything like that recently. Good luck!
