I flashed my pixel to graphene on Linux without any issue. I used an arch based distro and temporarily installed Brave to perform the flash.

100% agree. I was banned as a “sock puppet” account from all their gen AI comms for critiquing their stream of slop.

I did the exact same thing, and my frame rates in-game have never been better.

Started playing Runescape: Dragonwilds with a couple friends and it’s such a nice game. It’s really pretty, has a great soundtrack, and game feels like a blend of Vahiem and Enshrouded, but based in the Runescape world.

My favorite part of the game is that you learn spells that help you do everything from mining ores and chopping trees, to repairing all your equipment and armor. It’s the first survival game I’ve played that really integrates magic into all aspects of the survival mechanics, which completely eliminates that grindy feel a lot of survival games have.

The build system is one of the best I’ve seen, with large, medium (half size), and small (quarter size) pieces, full clipping, vertical shifting, and an advanced snapping system that feels a lot like Valhiem, but even better.

My only negative comment about the game is it’s very much a beta that still needs some optimization.

I was watching him stream Space Engineers 2 (which admittedly an alpha) at 15-30 fps. It runs 60+ on an RX 7900xtx.

My framerates have never been better since I went full AMD. My friend with a 5080 complains about low framerates on almost every new game, while I’m at max framerate.

Don’t let the door hit ya on the way out Nvidia.

BFGs with display port do exist as a viable replacement for a TV, but they’re expensive and kinda niche.

Lol wut? I’ve been running the same garuda arch install for over 9 months without a single issue.

I play a lot of PC games and it’s definitely of interest; if I can buy a powerful, compact machine that can play everything for less than the cost of a current generation 12-16gb+ GPU, I’m sold.

Why would I want to spend a bunch more money to build/upgrade my own rig? Have you seen RAM prices lately?
