1 year agoFor everyone discussing pros and cons of OLED, keep in mind the rumors are that Apple wants to use a newer dual-stacked OLED for iPads and probably MacBooks.
I think the idea here is this would provide greater max brightness, but also less burn-in at lower brightnesses. Probably also more expensive than current OLED displays.
Apple wants to use a new dual layer OLED display, this might be more expensive than other OLED displays.
