I feel like Yglesias isnt even that much of a liberal darling anymore. He’s way more ghoulish and off putting than he used to be and is just saying more wildly stupid and smug stuff for anybody that isn’t a ladder climbing ghoul or soft fascist.

Just based on vibes alone, it seems like this retaliation has down very little to change the needle at all on people’s opinions. If anything it seems to have largely scared off the remaining liberal hawks.
