I’d say get the Alpine Loop. It is a great band and none of the 3rd party copies are really that great. I have a few decent ones but the OEM one is noticeably better and bigger. That being said it is my most trusted band. If I’m heading out into the wilderness or something it is the band I go with.
I have several 3rd party silicone bands in various colors that are outstanding. I’ve never had one fail in any way but nature of the silicone clasp system doesn’t give me the warm fuzzy confidence when exploring the forest like the Alpine Loop does. They are great the rest of the time and I often swap out to various silicone bands for the work week.
