  • It’s not the update, mine decreased a bit if anything. I’ve always had a high resting heart rate throughout my life and when I was 91 kg it was consistently into the 80s. I’ve been working out and losing weight lately and now that I’m considerably lighter and fitter it’s in the high 60s/low 70s. Bear in mind that if you are very active your data will be higher than normal even if your actual RHR is lower: during the hours immediately after a hard workout your temperature and your RHR will be higher than normal. If your graph has spikes on the days you have been working out harder you can just ignore them, your actual RHR is what’s shown on resting days
