that’s how they are NOW, but pessimism doesn’t get anyone anywhere.

google and microsoft are creating a fault line in tech. one that was previously only drawn by Apple. now everyone will be forced to either assimilate or decentralize. which ironically is exactly what the internet needed, it’s grown entirely too privatized in the past decade or so. i sincerely hope this results in more people thinking critically about their tech. and that the next billionaire with an “idea” doesn’t just make everyone complacent again. but all i can do is hope.

name and shame. they don’t deserve to just back away from what they were loudly supporting before just because it hurts their wallet now. may it hurt their wallet forever.

well they’re definitely in a different tax bracket than me so that alone already makes me apprehensive. but i fucking love cars. hate them realistically. like i would love to live in an actually walkable place and in so many ways our reliance on cars is literally ruining everything that makes the world beautiful or even habitable. but goddamn, i love rally i love f1 i love supercars even. at least they’re not out here actually being rich assholes making people’s lives worse for the money to get their dream cars but, isn’t that the goal for a lot of them?

just like the gaming industry telling you 60fps is too low and your GTX series graphics card is inadequate today. but despite this i, amazingly, get by just fine. it’s literally just blatant consumerism.
