was meditating the other day on how despicably awful and cruel shows like C*PS were. goddamn there was this one called bait car that raised the stakes through ostensible entrapment, leaving high priced vehicles unlocked and running in impoverished (mostly minority) neighborhoods, and when theft was attempted locking the person in the car and killing the engine remotely before surrounding and arresting. the “entertainment”, as expressed by the police and highlighted by the show, were the prevarications and lies the the entrapped and abused put forth as reasons for their driving the car. truly depraved shit, and doing its part to stoke reactionary and anti-human dispositions and reground them in the domain of entertainment.

goddamn back to smoking weed in the morning before work again. funny thing is it helps with anxiety in the same amount it increases my baseline. whatever. i used to care about work and have a good ethic and all that in the shittiest jobs for the shittiest people and for lousy wages, and now that i have somewhat stable work for not quite as bad but still could be better pay doing something considerably more chill and maybe less explicitly evil i only complain. grass is always greener, sure, but when work is coercive it can’t help stink like a raw deal, even if it’s the good shit
