The Internet Historian, who leans a bit 4chany with some videos, had what I thought was a pretty good explanation. Basically the dude starting it was super naive and had no plan besides wanting to bring awareness to the issue. He was ironically pretty successful in hitting that goal, but having that actually happen-making everyone aware of something pretty evil but not having any actual ability to stop it-is probably enough to drive most people a bit insane.

It really does get worse. You start with Cartmans mom, where its just a throwaway joke. Still transphobic, but its not the point of the episode and probably not something they thought much about. Then you got Mr to Mrs Garrison, where they make a whole character out of it, but there’s usually more going on in her episodes than just making fun of trans people. And then you get to the recent trans athlete episode, which just has no other jokes and is just 22 minutes of whining about trans athletes.

Probably the funniest instance of this is South Park doing something horribly transphobic, realizing it years later, retconning it, then undoing any progress made by doing something else horribly transphobic.

The $2000 thing makes me wonder if he could actually win in 2024, it’s such a 2016 Donald move. But I donno, its like one smart thing he’s done in a year where he’s done an absolutely shit job running for re-election and four years from now he’s gonna be even more grotesque (granted, so will Biden).

Sounds like 4chan. I donno. There seems to be a lot of bullshit in it.

i don’t think that’s a victim of communisn cause guardians of the galaxy is when i tapped out of kinda liking these things. seeing this movie with so many wonderful creative ideas just get crushed under this horrible marvel movie formula and end up so thoroughly mediocre was super disappointing.
