Looks like a lot of them are tech related companies so not such a big surprise, and obviously Apple’s situation is due to Apple Retail in particular more-so than Apple Corporate based on what I’ve seen.

My hindsight bias was like someone would have developed something like this earlier and failed so this new initiative may have the same fate…and it did.
I’d escalate the matter, an Apple Store is supposed to deliver the same experience even if you are at an Apple Store in China or Canada (I have not heard of anything about Apple China being independent from Apple stores anywhere else around the world either). This wouldn’t align with the company’s values.
Anyways, try going to another Apple Store. You probably deserve an entire phone replacement if that frame/screen is not repairable.
I’m included to assume they will make the battery smaller like they have been doing. 1 year it is slightly increased and the following year it is slightly decreased when some other hardware becomes more efficient. And the cycle seems to have repeated since the XS Max I believe. Only talking about the pattern I noticed in the largest iPhone models over the years.
It’s not new anymore that newer devices with newer chips would have exclusive features.
I’ve long thought there’s no point in future proofing for my purchases simply because there’s always going to be something new that requires new hardware.
Good evening!
Mind blown…iOS features have gotten to the point where I figure most of the daily useful features here or through any unofficial sources.
