They recommend telegram as a privacy friendly alternative to WhatsApp? Isn’t this wrong? There is no E2EE by default or in groups…

5·2年前I also think that using the phone number to find friends, as done by signal, is really important for mainstream adoption.
I don’t understand why a privacy respecting app would use discord for their community. I subscribed to their mailing list and look forward to any updates.

Just use a service that works on both android and iOS such as Signal.
Signal is the best in regards to privacy.
