Just a guy going on about in his life.
Like software and hardware, commonly using Rust and nushell.
You’ll find me ranting on a whole bunch of stuff I have 0 idea on.
When I’m not writing code, I’m usually writing/enjoying fiction.

Thanks for the note about the mods! I’ll be sure to check them later on.

I do have crops, forgot to label them. Only 8 crops right now, since I only have one of those 8tile sprikler and waiting to build a few more of those so that I can start farming easily. I want to unlock iridium sprinklers (dk if I have already) and I also want a lot of iridium for that.
I’ll create the paths and visual markers, that’s been a constant advice and it makes a lot of sense.

Silos being shoved to a corner is nice advice. I’ll move some buildings. Thanks!
I am short on sprinklers and waiting to get a few more before I start farming seriously (only have 8 crops around the 8 tile sprinkler rn). Paving and flower section I’ll keep in mind too. Thanks.

You can store extra hay in a chest
Shit I didn’t realise it lol, thanks, I was about the build a third 😆
artisan goods/preserve jars
I’ve started doing that. All eggs become mayonnaise, and for fruits and veggies I have two preserve jars (though they take a long time). I’m hoarding stuff in chests for now. And pull them out and create the jellies and pickles when the slots are free.
greenhouse
Working towards that, the pantry section is a bit tough because of the premium fruits and veggies and I don’t have a lot of sprinklers or even iridium sprinklers to water them and watering them manually is a pain.
paved floors and paths/horse
Thanks, a lot of people recommended this, I’ll do it, it makes sense.
green rain
Haha yeah, I’ve stockpiled a ton on moss. I also recently discovered mushroom log, so making a bunch of those as well.
save the seeds
Started doing that. I want to place the trees close to the mushroom cave entrance so I don’t have to make long trips just to collect all the mushrooms.
Thanks a lot! Those were quite helpful tips!

I actually do grow crops! It’s just that I have only one sprinkler atm (the 8 tile one) and I want to get some iridium sprinklers to get the farm going.
I’m at level 80 on the mines rn.

Actually did not think of that lol, might even consider when I need to do so

How do you like to play the game?
I usually focus on one aspect and continue that one for a while. Eg, in game, a couple of days of mining, a couple of days of fishing, a couple of days of foraging, maybe a day here and there to do other stuff like quarry mining. And so on. Usually I have a morning routine of ‘water plants if needed’ (right now there are only 8 because I put farming on the backseat for community center stuff, mostly got done with all except for the quality crops bundle), ‘collect mushrooms from the cave thingy next to farm’, ‘pet the chicken’, ‘talk to my wife’ and stuff like that. Then the rest of the day goes in activities like ones I mentioned above. When I’m not being lazy, the evening goes in going around and selling my stuff in stores that’ll pay me the most, otherwise I just put them in the box :p
min-maxxing profits
Mostly no
mine levels
When I’m in the mood for it
relaxing and going with vibes
Mostly yeah, there are a few days where I grind some stuff to get community center bundles, but otherwise, mostly relax and do stuff like an actual farmer
decorating stuff
Not to a huge extent, but I like aesthetics for sure
what activity do you enjoy doing the most?
~kissing my wife Leah~ tbh, everything. Especially, when I’m getting some good results out of things, it’s fun and rewarding and satisfying!

Green… houses? You can have more than one?
I guess I first need to get the broken one unlocked in order to get it in Robin’s shop.
About the play, haha yeah. I agree. I’m taking it rather on the fun side (what’s the point of rushing here, I literally bought the game to relax null I was really just wondering what experienced players keep in mind.
I believe aesthetics and functionality can coexist peacefully, just wondering the how and where and what.

You can consider using one of the invidious instances, or deploy one on your own that routes through proxies
Update: wrote this to cope with it personally lol
