Underwater was good. Nowhere near as good as The Abyss (the extended version), but a good experience nevertheless.

I am biased since I like sci-fi and Bong Joon Ho, but I thought it was fun and irreverent. It was worth watching in the cinema.

It had some flaws (pacing and certain plot holes), but I felt they they didn’t distract from the core experience.

This is an excellent movie, wholesome and light hearted. I love pre 2000s Jackie Chan.

I am assuming Donahue is “set for life” from the royalties from “Blair Witch Project”. In down to earth way, you can live relatively comfortably and pursue your interests as long as you manage expenses and investments properly.

Not going to read the article (I generally avoid all trailers, previews etc.), but this sounds like something worth checking out.

While I enjoy the later seasons, I can broadly agree with your point.

As weird as it sounds, I liked season 2 TD a lot and on some level I think it’s even better than season 1.

I initially watched season 1, then season 4 (skipped 2 because of the seemingly bad feedback) and then watched season 2.

I really liked that season 2 was more down to earth and had more of a realistic-gritty vibe. I really liked the ending as well. It felt real.

Season 1 was great, but in comparison to season 2 it was more about style. I liked the setup of season 4 (and it was cool to see Jodie Foster), but I didn’t like the ending.

But yes, I do think season 2 of true detective was better than season 1.

Would be interested in a new Shyamalan movie, but I am not sure what the quality will be like.

He some really good movies (Unbreakable, The Six Senses, The Village, The Visit), but also some trash-level productions.

I know he’s been in other animated kids movies, I still they could find a better option for kids shows, someone with broad experience in making content for children, not an aging rapper.

They really can’t find someone better than Snoop Dogg? Doesn’t seem like he is a good fit for what seems to be a franchise for very young kids.
