Limbo app for Lemmy
I love it too. Fortunately Liftoff! has it as an option! (see announcement post)
Yes, I don’t think the original devs could ever have seen a post with more than a handful of comments. As soon as they mount up we do start to have issues. It will be a priority are for Liftoff! (see announcement here!)
Great feedback thanks. The usual feedback and reporting channels will be opened very soon, but I am paying attention to comments here, so it’s all helping!
Lemmy.ml updated their API version last night, so some features are a little tricky right now. I’ll have a closer look.
Not a problem, that’s a really important feature to have (and easy to implement a simple solution :-). Thanks for raising it.
Should be solved in build 0.0.1+7 now in TestFlight.
Thanks for reporting it.
Now added in TestBuild build 0.0.1+7.

Tapping at the very top of the screen will take you to the top, and you can then pull to refresh. Not quite as quick, but near enough :-)
Oh this is so unexpected. The excitement I felt at seeing Mlem move forward so quickly with so much support from its users was one of the things that inspired me to believe in Lemmy and to start working on Limbo. Thank you for your incredible work, and well done for having the insight and courage to step back when you needed to do so. Please take some time to look after yourself.
This is the best place to get my attention!
Filter request understood and sounds doable.
Collapse replies – long press on the comment :-)
Nice idea, I’ve no idea how it all works, but I’m learning a lot at the moment!
Same here, I feel very odd getting praise for what is essentially their work!
Good point. Thanks for bringing it up!
Yes, I think they will be adding features at quote a pace for a while now, while I just want to ensure that Limbo is robust enough for everyday use as my first priority. Looking reasonably good from the feedback so far, though there is some work to do.
To be honest, that’s low on my priorities at the moment, but once core functionality has been shown to be in good order, we can start thinking about the best approach to such features.
Yeah I think there’s some UI thinking to be done. I just want to ensure that the functionality all works as intended first!
Haha, that’s very nice of you, but all the credit should go to the original devs at https://github.com/LemmurOrg/lemmur. They’ve not responded to direct contact but perhaps some donations might attract their interest (they have a donation link on that page).
I’ve had great fun working my way through the code getting it ready to release, and am enjoying reading other people’s perspectives on how the app is working out for them, and that’s reward enough for me!
Yes, it’s a shame that Lemmur got abandoned just as Lemmy’s time was coming.
That’s great, thanks for pointing me to him, I’ll get in touch!
Yeah, the release of the new version caught us on the hop. Should be okay now.
