TV+ is a bargain at $9.99 and was a steal at $4.99. Perhaps the best hit ratio of all the streaming platforms.
When they had few programs, they had to charge less than the others.

All of the SciFi shows on TV+. If the other apps, integrated apps, count…. Max has Julia season 2 (season 1 was great, IMO). Watched an episode or two of One Tree Hill per day until we finished all 9 seasons. I’m watching Smallville, too.
What does it show in the Movies app?
We buy TV shows and movies via iTunes. Prefer to buy from the one source.
The user interface is great and consistent no matter what brand of TV you have. Like if you have a Sony TV in the family room and a Samsung one in your office…
Technically, the Apple TV does everything excellently. Upscaling, HDR, audio formats.
I have a high end Sony TV and the UI is ugly and sluggish. Buttons on the remote are not intuitive.
All but NetFlix integrate into the TV app. The up next feature is excellent. Discovery of new content to watch is great.
The Ed Sheeran concert video is an Apple exclusive and brilliant.
Apple’s own content is the highest bit rates, 4K HDR, and Atmos.
I use the news app all the time and never see a paywall…
TV+ has a much better hit ratio than NetFlix for less than half the cost. It’s in line with most of the other streaming services, if not still less expensive.
At the initial price, it was an incredible deal.
I get mine with the Premium subscription, with more storage, arcade, news, etc.
I use a pair for my m1 iMac. I like the look and how it fits on the desktop.
If HomeKit sees your TV and / or AVR, you can use it to change the inputs, I believe. Hold the button above the volume control on the Siri Remote.
