    skateboards are intentionally loud… softer wheels and better bearings, putting little plastic skid guards on it will make it about 4x quieter….
    nobody does this.
    that’s why people go nuts over skaters practicing the same trick over and over….
    i used to skate and do this so i can’t get mad, but things could be more considerate and get less harassment

    that’s not passive aggressive, that pretty direct.
    because you’re repeating the same shit and offering extremely bland and broad platitudes, not actually responding to what i’m saying.
    i’m not a new user.
    it doesn’t help to join an instance defederated from the triad because they’re still commenting on and manipulating every post they can.
    it like saying “my neighborhood is on fire” and you respond “just stay inside your own house and don’t look out the window”….
    bruh, i can smell the smoke and my house is flammable….
    i know “this isn’t reddit” and i think you’re a condescending prick for saying that and then pretending like you’re “just trying to be helpful”
    i don’t need everyone to be nice.
    i need people to not be liars and sock puppets for north korea and shit…. and other instances to recognize that and defederate from extremely abusive instances, otherwise they will always be manipulating what you can see.

    pssssh, sounds like typical Womanplaining….
    that’s where a woman complains too much….
    you see, in a typical post by a Man, they will get on average 15 complaints by women, but in a post by a woman, only five complaints by women… now you can’t tell which posts are Womanplaining and which ones are genuine complaints, but i think inventing new terms with “woman” and “man” attached to the front are the perfect way to achieve harmony between the sexes and don’t just reinforce sexism.

    but, “mansplain” is hate speech and it needs to stop.
    sexist condescending speech of men towards women is hateful and needs to stop as well….
    inventing new slurs is counterproductive.

    you just explained very common knowledge to people that certainly know it.
    the problem is the terminology…
    men and women condescendingly explain shit to people all the time. If you attach the word “man” to it then you’re being sexist.
    when a man is condescending to a woman because she’s a woman, then that man is being sexist.
    if you assume every time a man is being condescending to a woman they’re being sexist, then you’re sexist.
    every time ANYONE makes a factual claim on the internet and it gets enough traction, someone will chime in and condescendingly explain why they’re wrong. gender is not the only factor.

    it’s certainly terrible how men are sexist and condescending towards women so often… making a new sexist term doesn’t help that problem.
    also, i’m not assuming your gender and you don’t know mine, i am merely disagreeing with you.

    yeah, they’re fucking trash…
    and such propaganda garbage, i’m honestly just going to leave lemmy entirely if this is allowed to continue.
    users get banned for abusive behavior, why not the entire instance?
    the instances both encourage and just about require abuse…. and incredibly evil shit, like there’s a new trend of trying to manipulate the palestinian genocide to attack leftists.
    like reuters, aoc, radiohead….
    hexagon started out on reddit as el chapo trap house, and was banned for repeatedly abusing the site, including brigading other subs….
    so why allow instances who’s main purpose is to deceive or otherwise attack other instances?
    the fediverse will not work if we allow instances dedicated to abusing other instances.
    if they were alt-right chuds, they would’ve been defederated a long time ago… but instead we have government propaganda pretending to be alt-left and that’s allowed?
    and there’s no fucking way real flesh and blood people are really arguing that the PRC is better than the US in every way…
