This is great and all, but UCI has transphobic policies and doesn’t allow trans female cyclists who transitioned after puberty to compete in their events, full stop. That’s not a matter of fairness. Minimum fairness would at least allow trans athletes based on hormone levels and time transitioned. This is just straight up discrimination. From their rules:

female transgender athletes who have transitioned after (male) puberty will be prohibited from participating in women’s events on the UCI International Calendar – in all categories – in the various disciplines.

Until people actually have enough integrity to not participate in groups that are actively transphobic, I am not going to celebrate their exclusionary wins and triumphs.

This is a PSA that as a whole, the plastics recycling and packaging industry isn’t well regulated, and all those plastic drink and soda bottles at the grocery store that now say “Made with recycled plastics”? You have NO idea what type of plastics are in there now or the level of decay, and neither do the manufacturers.

Do not drink out of, eat out of, or wear anything that is made from recycled plastics.

Recycled plastics encountered in the world should be assumed to be toxic unless you know for certain they aren’t, and should not be considered fit for food use, medical use, or prolonged human contact.

Why are you assuming their genitals would be the same as yours?

And it will be on a prepaid card and you’ll need to sign up for a google account to get the card.

That’s what Equifax did to people. Made them create an account and fork over personal details to get the settlement payout.

A settlement Equifax had to pay over stolen data. Oh the irony.
