Unification is good if it isn’t under the conditions the mainland wants. Instead, the mainland should become an actual democracy like Taiwan is. Taiwan does everything better than the mainland whether it is democracy, queer rights etc. Hell, Taiwan is even more left that the mainland despite the mainland claiming to be communist and Taiwan claiming to be a liberal democracy.
