That’s a silly analysis. It’s the US/Israel axis that started this war of choice against Iran, and Iran has very few realistic options for defending its sovereignty against a freaking superpower. Creating costs for US allies like us is not pretty but honestly what else can they do, sit and take it?
The fault for this escalation lies squarely in US/Israeli hands. We as Europeans need to do anything in our power to stop them. Spain shows it can be done.

If anything the American “situation” is proof of too little democracy. Their system is archaic, incredibly difficult to reform, with ridiculously tiny winning coalitions compared to the selectorate, with winner-take-all cosmic level elections, and with all sorts of anti-democratic “safeguards” (remove the quotes if you’re a rich white guy) baked in right from the start of their republic.
