I am running it right now and deleting 13 years of wasted time. I am so sick of the downvote trolls and hate.

minus-square@empireOfLovelinkEnglish9•11 months agoPlus the content staying up means bots can and will steal it to repost, including the comments. Likely they have already. Full purging your account cuts off that extra content reddit could use via bots to generate more traffic via fake activity.
I think it depends on what you posted. If your comments had value, the Reddit can profit off of traffic to them.
