minus-squareconciselyverboselinkfedilink1•1 year agoI don’t think running Android really helps. Obviously it’s a better actual OS than their Windows phone trash, but their reputation on mobile is a dumpster fire. They’d have to do a huge amount to just not make the name alone tank it.
Microsoft did that and it sold poorly.
Because it’s a Microsoft phone, not because it’s a bad idea.
