Have we got ex mods of r/mma? Have KSW and ONE social media teams been informed? (they regularly posted on r/mma)

I know it’s early days, i’m just interested to see if there’s actually anyone here and how it’s moving along.

    The entire modteam here is the same modteam as /r/mma. We’re going to do our best to continue to grow the community over here parallel with the subreddit. It’s still early days but we wanna make sure we have eggs in a few baskets. Ultimately what we care about is the community of users, not Reddit or karma or even really kbin. The federated, decentralized social media route seems long term best.

    So we’ll continue to work on this one for users who wish to leave Reddit, for a new audience on kbin/Lemmy and for any future protest options if Reddit implements more stupid policies.

      That’s cool. Was disappointing how many reddit mods only wanted to stay reddit mods so were more invested in trying to compromise with reddit instead of providing the leverage of leaving. You guys are one of the best mod groups.

      Makes me wish you guys had been in charge of pcgaming and buildapc. Very jealous of the mma community. I follow more the NBA… Yeah…
