About 13,000 U.S. auto workers have stopped making vehicles and headed for the picket lines. Their leaders have been unable to bridge a giant gap between union demands in contract talks and what Detroit’s three automakers are willing to pay.
i bet they’ve learned their lesson last time during the railroad strike and will act clandestinely to break up this strike and minimize political blow back.
I wonder how little the workers will get this time when Congress passes a law making their strike illegal.
