Just checked and it happened to me… Edit: looks like the script just only went back so far, and I only had a few more left to delete

Also PowerDeleteSuite only looks at your profile, which is very limited now. There will be old 1 or a few karma posts/comments that PowerDeleteSuite will not see.

Yes, I’ve had to run Power Delete Suite numerous times.

However, the person in the linked post had a different situation.

Even if you run PDS multiple times it still won’t get everything. For example, if you find one of your older top posts, there may be several low karma replied underneath it that PDS couldn’t see.

Reddit limits how many comments you can see in your profile under New, Hot, Top & Controversial. These are the lists PDS goes through.

Shreddit can take GDPR csv files (use the github version not the website) and get everything, however even then it “panics” and stops every few hundred comments.

However all of these suffer from reddit restoring old comments. Supposedly this is merely a flaw in reddit’s CDN structure, but frankly that isn’t a good enough excuse to be violating GDPR.

My recommendation is to keep your account open until you can be certain everything is gone. Edit and delete the posts/comments, but keep the account so you can come back and do it again if it’s restored.
